This is Greensboro, where I spend my daily life. I was born here and lived in Raleigh, NC briefly for college. Yet, I came back a few days before the new year of 2009. As our country changed presidencies, I changed my life. The Black Urbanist is in turn a long love letter full of tough love for this city and others, with the words of wisdom my parents instilled in me here that I want to share with the world. Plus, this is where I’m seen and this is how I know we all can be Fabulous without Frills.
